Converge, a band who recently visited NZ and tore up the Kings Arms, are starting the writing process this week for a new album.

Dethcore new comers Oceano are due to release their 2nd album, Contagion on Metalblade and if you click here to pre-order it (or any combo of new cd to merch) you go in the draw to win an Ipad- valid only thru the US store so I don't know if that means it's limited to USA residents or not..

The Souless, formerly Ignominious Incarceration, will be entering the studio [one in Britain] in mid-December and working there thru til January2011- due for an April 2011 release

Ignominious Incarceration becomes The Soulless

Apparently, due to their success as Ignominious Incarceration, the band wanted to have a simpler name- the brits are obviously savy enough to realise the scarifies needed to be made in order to break the US market good and proper.

To the news I say "NOOOOOOOO" I rather liked the bands long name, so from now on in my computer I will be labeling all "The Soulless" songs as "The Soulless (Ignominious Incarceration)" under artist..
